D+A Studio offers a collection of carriage houses, cottages, and sensible homes, featuring home plans under 1,000 square feet. Many plans are ideal for Detached Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s), alley flats and backyard cottages. Each home plan is ready for permit submission, meets all IRC requirements, and is as thoughtfully designed as our custom homes. A full book of drawing sets is available to view in each of our offices.
A variety of sizes and styles are featured in our Home Plan Collection, listed by square footage, featuring traditional cottages and simple, clean, modern structures which are affordable to build. We can also work with you to customize the plans, or to match the style of your existing home. Using a stock home plan as a base and customizing the plan is an affordable way to build your custom home. If you are a builder or developer, our home plans are a perfect solution for getting a project started in the current economy.
